Hi I’m Karen! Welcome to my blog! I am so happy to be on this creative journey with you. Here I share some tidbits of my lovely and sometimes crazy life with my three amazing daughters and their equally amazing dad. I am grateful for any small moments I get to design and create quilts with a modern edge and any other thing that strikes my sewing fancy, sometimes with a successful outcome and sometimes not. Either way, I enjoy and appreciate the opportunity to share my process and thoughts on creating with you. I love to hear from you! Your comments keep me motivated and inspired to continue along my creative path. Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you’ll come back often.
Please feel free to contact me at kanderson.abraham@gmail.com if you are interested in knowing more about my work.

So excited for you Karen and love to be able to finally see your beautiful work! xo
thanks elaine– hugs!
Beautiful quilts, Karen. I knew you were creative but I had no idea how creative! Love, Shareen
Wow Karen, I’m so glad we connected through facebook so I could see this incredible part of your life that I didn’t know about. I love your work ~ and I love how much you love it. Three beautiful daughters, a good husband, and the opportunity to display your talents in such beautiful ways. stream of consciousness is my favorite so far ~ I keep coming back to it and enjoying what you have created. And here I thought you were just a great public school teacher! I hope our paths cross ~ I’d love to meet your family and see more of your work.
Kris told me how close you two are; what a small world! Take good care and keep on creating.

Hi Karen:
I’m going to the Sewing Summitt so hope to see you there.
Hi Irelle,
Yaayy! So glad you’re going. Are you staying at the hotel there? Hopefully we’ll have some of the same classes. Send me your cell # if you want and we can meet up.
Yes – I am staying at the hotel there. I would love to get together as I am going by myself. My cell is 805-451-8168. Hope to see you at SBMQG on Tues – I have some Loulouthi scraps for you and we are going to do a big fabric swap and do some improv piecing on the spot with a couple of machines.
I am thrilled to nominate you for The Versatile Blogger Award. You can find more about it here http://themodernhomeeconomist.wordpress.com/2012/03/28/yet-another-surprising-honour/ – yay
